The Fish Calendar from "Fish Planet" provides an accurate prediction of success on a fishing trip and is designed for all types of fishermen, from amateurs to experienced anglers.
To access a complete fishing forecast, simply click on the desired day. The probability of a catch is presented in a simple graphical format for each fish species.
For ease of use, you can choose to display only the desired fish species and disable the forecast for those types that you do not plan on catching in the near future. Fish species are organized by families in the app settings.
In the settings, you can specify a location on the map for which you want to view the forecast. This feature is useful for planning fishing trips - simply select a location, choose a day, and receive the forecast.
Fish Calendar can also send notifications about the forecast for the current day. These notifications can be displayed on various devices connected to your mobile phone, such as electronic clocks or fitness bracelets (e.g. Samsung Galaxy Gear, Samsung Galaxy Fit, etc.).
The forecast is based on the mathematical model of fish MathFish5.0 (TM), which takes into account various factors:
- Climatic zone (detailed three-dimensional model of the Earth based on topography, permanent ocean and sea currents, and winds)
- Dynamics of changes in food availability at a given location
- Behavior characteristics of each fish species (e.g. spawning, feeding, winter habits)
- Reaction of each fish species to different moon phases
The following factors are not taken into account:
- Impact of local weather events on fish appetite
- Daily changes associated with sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset
- Effects of tides on fishing
The calendar includes 199 species of fish, and the MathFish5.0 (TM) model has been developed for each fish species.
The basic free version of the app includes 32 major fish species. Additional regional packages are available for download, such as:
- North America - 73 species of fish
- Europe and Asia - 131 species of fish
- Sea Fishes - 124 species of fish
In addition to the calendar, we highly recommend installing the "Fish Planet" application, which is the most comprehensive mobile reference guide for anglers. This fishing guide provides detailed biometric data, descriptions of fish habits, and fishing techniques for 360 different species of fish. The app is available in both free and paid versions.
The Fish Calendar from "Fish Planet" is the culmination of our two years of work on fishing calendars and represents the third generation of our calendar.
This application will be a valuable tool for fishing enthusiasts on your mobile phone!
